Speaking about her her last album, The Pink Print, Nicki said:

“The last album (was) almost like my diary, closing the chapter on certain things and not knowing if I was happy or sad about beginning new chapters… Now, I can tell you guys what happened for the last two years of my life. I know who I am. I am getting Nicki Minaj figured out with this album and I’m loving her.”

When asked what qualities she thinks a good rapper should possess, she said:

“Do you sound intelligent? Does your flow switch up? Are you in command of the beat?”

“I listen for things like that. Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown – those are the three I keep in my head when I’m writing because they’ve influenced me so much, I feel like I’m a part of all of them.” she added.

Tonto Dikeh: Churchill was Married to Someone else all the while we Were Together

The drama between Tonto Dikeh and her embattled ex-husband, Oladunni Churchill has again made the news as the actress has revealed that Churchill was married to someone else all through the time they were together.

The Nollywood actress and mother of one made the disclosure in an interview with the Saturday Sun where she also talked about her career.

Asked if she still interacts with her husband and allow him to play a major role in the life of their son, Tonto Dikeh revealed that they just ended a child custody case in court which she wouldn’t like to talk about. In her words;

“Recently, we just ended a court case which I did not publicise because I respect my son so much, anything that concerns my son I try as much as possible to keep it on the wraps. We just finished a custody battle case and a child support case.

“If you want to talk about me and my ex-husband that’s different but I will not even glorify that because he’s eating off my energy and my stardom and I don’t want that anymore. I don’t even think I was ever married because he was married to someone else while I was married to him,”

Even though Tonto Dikeh and her ex-husband, Churchill Oladunni might no longer be in good terms the two set aside their differences last week when their son celebrated his birthday. Churchill Oladunni showed up at King’s school to celebrate his son’s birthday and he even took pictures with Tonto Dikeh. Among those present at the birthday party were close friends and classmates of the celebrant, King.

It would be recalled that Oladunni Churchill had filed a suit in January 2018 against Tonto Dikeh at the family court stopping his son, King from featuring in her reality show. In his application, Churchill Oladunni wants to protect his son’s image and which he feels is being exploited for financial gains

How a Doctor Killed my Son – Eucharia Anunobi

Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has this week made huge revelation about how she lost her son due to a Doctor’s carelessness.

In a chat with Saturday Beats, the actress explained why she decided to celebrate her son’s posthumous birthday with the motherless babies and why she decided to give some of his personal effects to young inmates at the Special Correctional Centre for the Boys. According to her;

“I have not removed my mourning clothes, neither have I opened my hair since the death of my son. I have only been wearing white since his demise and the reason I have maintained this is because my son was a good boy to me; but he was mistakenly killed by the doctor. My son was not supposed to die.

He was a very wonderful child. I decided to honour him by marking his 16th birthday posthumously the way we normally do. During our birthdays, we usually visited the motherless babies and show them love by donating some clothes and food to them.

This year would not be any different from the previous ones we have celebrated.  I am going to do it the way my son and I had always done it and I would give out some of his personal effects.

Normally, when someone dies, you do not touch their things for about a year. For instance, if a man’s wife dies he is not expected to touch her things or dispose of them till after a year. Initially, I decided to do the same thing but I later changed my mind and that is why I donated some of his things to a government-owned motherless babies’ home and also to the boys at the Special Correctional Centre for the Boys. I am doing this because I am a humanitarian and to let the motherless babies know that we love them.”
